Stourbridge based fitness company Versaclimber UK is providing its Versaclimber machines to Shine TV who produce prime-time ITV1 show The Biggest Loser. The machines are being used on the weight loss show, presented by Davina McCall, for contestants to train on. The Versaclimber 108 Sport will help them to commit to a fitness regime, lose significant weight, and gain fitness and tone. On the show, the overall ‘loser’, who sheds the most amount of weight, will win £25,000. However, the idea of the show is that everyone should lose weight and ultimately improve their lives.
Neil Kelford, managing director of Versaclimber UK is confident that the products will have a huge positive impact on all the contestants: “Versaclimber UK’s products, which are also used by professional athletes for ultimate fitness and strength and conditioning, will be invaluable to contestants in achieving significant and efficient weight loss. “These machines are an integral part of the gym which is a central and vital element to the show and I am certain that viewers will see the impact that the Versaclimber will have. “They are in good company, as famous faces such as Michelle Obama and Sir Ranulph Fiennes have been known to use the Versaclimber as part of their personal fitness regimes” The Versaclimber Sport model is the original climbing fitness machine, and the simple to use. It can play an integral role in the health and exercise regime of anyone, regardless of age, weight, height or level of fitness.
